What are the responsibilities and job description for the Launch Mission Feasibility Engineer position at Sigmatech, Inc.?
Support U.S. Government customer activities related to initial mission design for launch service procurements. Applicants must have Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Required Experience:
- Solid foundation of structural static and dynamic fundamentals
- Spacecraft and launch vehicle loads development/validation
- Prediction/validation of low and high frequency structural dynamics and loads
- Rigid and flexible body dynamics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering with 9 years relevant experience; OR Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering with 7 years relevant experience; OR Ph.D. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance and be eligible for SCI
Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience with vibration, vibro-acoustics, shock response, and environment generation
- Advanced Knowledge of detailed space launch flight loads
- Knowledge of spacecraft and launch vehicle requirements generation, design, procurement, and program management activities
