Job Description:
This internship offers a distinctive chance to acquire practical skills within a close-knit studio setting, centering on video production and instructional design. As the Multimedia Intern, you'll collaborate closely with our senior creative team to craft video projects directly influencing courses aimed at educating Space Force Guardians. Throughout this 8 week program you will gain exposure to every facet of the Digital Learning Team's workflow and receive mentorship from seasoned professionals. You'll leverage your expertise in video production, animation, editing, and compositing to craft visually captivating content tailored for Space Force Education. The internship will start no earlier than June 2nd, and end no later than August 29th, 2025. Hours worked per week for this internship are not to exceed 30 hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the creative team to conceptualize and develop multimedia projects.
- Utilize video production techniques to capture and edit footage for various projects.
- Create basic visual effects and animations using After Effects and other tools.
- Composite multiple elements to produce seamless and visually appealing final products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Assist with other multimedia-related tasks and projects as needed.
- Be ready and willing to learn new techniques and tools.
Required Experience:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Multimedia Design, Film Production, Animation and VFX, etc.).
- Proficient in video production techniques and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Knowledge of compositing techniques and software.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- An understanding of After Effects with experience creating visual effects and animations is a bonus.
- A portfolio showcasing previous multimedia projects and skills is required and should be submitted with your rsum.
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
