Role: Power Platform Developer
Onsite/Remote - Onsite, local preference. Open to remote outside Phoenix, but will be considered secondary option
Duration - 9 months
Start Date - ASAP
Time Zone - M-F, 8-5 AZ time
Interview Process - 1st round Teams, 2nd round Onsite
Responsibilities/ Top 3:
- Design, build, and implement a scalable Project Management application using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Collaborating with IT Director and stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize features, and ensure the application aligns with business needs.
- Continuously improving the application by incorporating feedback and introducing new functionalities.
- Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements across the organization.
- Developing and deploying additional applications, workflows, and dashboards as new business requirements emerge.
- Implementing governance policies and best practices to safeguard sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
- Configuring role-based access control and permissions to ensure data security and compliance.
- Collaborating with IT team members to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Facilitating requirement-gathering sessions and providing technical guidance to business users and stakeholders.
- Delivering user training and creating comprehensive documentation to support adoption and long-term usage.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate, with expertise in licensing management.
- Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, including process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with project management principles, including agile development and iterative improvement cycles.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, PCs, and network systems.
- Solid background in security best practices, including role-based access control and data protection.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript) and database systems (e.g., SQL Server, SharePoint).
- Certifications in Power Platform (e.g., PL-100, PL-400), business analysis (e.g., CBAP), or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and other Microsoft ecosystem technologies.
