Are you a seasoned Logistics Account leader with a passion for customer success and operational excellence? In this role, you will involve engaging with clients to manage our solutions and services, driving business development initiatives including the development and oversight of partner programs for resellers and supporting the implementation of programs with other business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Support warehouse leadership by implementing short-term operational plans aligned with the plant’s mission and strategic goals.
- Oversee core logistics functions including inbound/outbound shipping, air/ocean freight, local distribution, drayage, and warehouse operations.
- Drive warehouse productivity by optimizing budgets, eliminating inefficiencies, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing targeted employee training programs.
- Serve as the main liaison with customers on special projects, weekly shipping schedules, and inbound planning for critical low-inventory models.
- Lead daily performance meetings with branch leaders to review KPIs and develop action plans that meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Investigate and report service failures, safety incidents, misconduct, or claims, ensuring rapid resolution and proper escalation to the relevant departments.
- Ensure operational integrity by maintaining and enforcing robust security protocols and warehouse safety standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to generate a strong sales pipeline and expand existing business relationships.
- Consistently meet or exceed defined sales goals and operational targets.
- Monitor overall business operations, manage P&L performance, and implement strategies to ensure long-term profitability and sustainability.
- Foster strong client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality service and addressing inquiries related to products, pricing, services, and credit terms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 13 years of experience in international freight forwarding, warehouse operations, and/or logistics sales, with strong supply chain knowledge.
- In-depth understanding of both domestic and international transportation methods, including trucking, rail, air, and ocean freight.
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels from frontline staff to C-suite executives.
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% across the U.S.
- Bilingual in Korean and English is required for effective communication with clients.
