Sigmaways Inc is seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to lead our manufacturing operations team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the Maintenance Department for efficient operations.
- Manage Capital Expenditure (CapEx) programs, including budget planning and monthly reviews.
- Oversee plant energy programs to optimize efficiency and sustainability.
- Control and monitor the plant maintenance budget, providing regular financial updates.
- Maintain and track capital assets to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
- Develop and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.
- Drive productivity improvements through process optimization and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Plant Leadership Team to align maintenance strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing/project engineering, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with SAP for maintenance planning and asset management.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their applications in manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Proven ability to manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and resource allocation.
- Minimal travel required.
- Work environment includes exposure to heat, cold, high noise levels, moving machinery, heights, dust, fumes, and extensive walking/climbing in a manufacturing setting.
