About the Role:
- As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the Maintenance Department and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- You will work closely with the Plant Leadership Team to align maintenance strategies with business objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Your expertise in SAP for maintenance planning and asset management will be valuable in optimizing equipment performance and reducing downtime.
- You will also be responsible for managing the plant maintenance budget, controlling costs, and ensuring that capital assets are properly maintained.
- With your strong understanding of mechanical systems and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, you will play a key role in driving productivity improvements and implementing process optimizations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing/project engineering, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with SAP for maintenance planning and asset management.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their applications in manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Proven ability to manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and resource allocation.
- Minimal travel required.
- Work environment includes exposure to heat, cold, high noise levels, moving machinery, heights, dust, fumes, and extensive walking/climbing in a manufacturing setting.
