Job Title: Customer Support & Order Processing Specialist
Position Summary:
The Customer Support & Order Processing Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining seamless order fulfillment. This position is responsible for addressing customer inquiries, managing sales orders and purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of products for direct manufacturing. The ideal candidate will excel at communicating effectively with clients, identifying efficient solutions, and managing detailed administrative tasks with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Satisfaction
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone or email to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Proactively follow up on orders, purchase orders, shipment dates, and tracking information.
- Identify the most effective solutions to resolve client questions and concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
Order & Payment Processing
- Accurately enter sales orders into the company’s software system.
- Process accounts payable related to purchase orders, ensuring a three-way match (purchase order, packing slip, and invoice) for product manufacturing.
Order Completion & Vendor Management
- Finalize customer orders by providing tracking details, completion photos, purchase order numbers, and invoices.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
