Installer Job Description:
As an Installer at Sign Studio, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of signage at client locations. This includes working with a variety of materials and tools to ensure that the signage meets our high standards of quality and precision. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure that installations are completed accurately and on time.
Duties:
- Install, assemble, and connect various components and systems according to specifications- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the installation process- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Represent the company and interact with customers while on job sites
- Safely operate cranes and/or bucket trucks- Install signage at virtually any height on the exterior & interior of buildings
- Basic vinyl installation
- Stick welding, gas torching, & plasma cutting.- Provide training and guidance to new installers as needed
- Use job management software on iPads including loading photos and measurements for each stage of installations, removals, & site surveys- Maintain clean and well-organized company vehicles
Qualifications (Not all are required for the right candidate):
- 3 years of sign installation experience required
- Knowledge of installation techniques, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret proofs, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Working knowledge of electrical signs including LED, neon, transformers, ballasts, & EMCs
- Extensive knowledge of hand tools & sign components.
- General construction knowledge
- Common sense, positive attitude, & excellent work ethic
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as required
