Family Forward supports Chattanooga area families to have healthy pregnancies and successful early childhood development through resource linkage, education, and community-building.
Family Forward Fatherhood Specialists meet with clients bi-weekly to provide intensive case management and connect families to needed resources promoting health, wellness, safety, and stability. Specifically, this position will focus on working around our fatherhood initiatives by facilitating our fatherhood curriculum and working with community partners to help coordinate training, mentoring, and support for fathers. This may entail helping train other case managers and community members about the importance and benefits of fatherhood, including the impact on a child’s attachment and early brain development. Job responsibilities include:
- Carry and maintain a caseload of no more than 25 families, by providing intensive case management & resource linkage.
- Participate in outreach events and community meetings to recruit new families.
- Data entry including case notes, assessments, and other tracking and reporting requirements.
- Parent workshops
- Family events which may sometimes occur during evening and/or weekend hours.
These are grant funded positions that work with inner city families within Chattanooga city limits.

REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in social work, or a related field as well as experience working with inner cities families in a case management model. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply. Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with valid insurance per TN state requirements.
