The Accounting Credit Card Specialist is responsible for managing and reconciling credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting compliance with company policies. This role involves processing payments, analyzing account activity, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with month-end reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in financial systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.
Qualifications:
- Must have relevant experience in a professional office environment.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat, ensuring efficient document management and communication.
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, have the ability to work within deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with others within the organization, vendors, and clients and understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must possess problem solving skills and ability to work independently and with a team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze weekly credit card statements by matching receipts, documentation for accounting purposes and coding to correct expense and program.
- Identify any suspected fraudulent charges and work with bank to resolve.
- Enter data into Accounting system for all transactions weekly with detailed descriptions.
- Follow up with employees for missing receipts and approvals as needed.
- Process weekly credit card payments in Accounting system.
- Reconcile related balance sheet account.
- Maintain credit card users in online banking system including ordering credit cards for new employees, cancelling cards for terminated employees, and adjusting credit limits as needed.
- Work with Accounting team on projects as needed and other duties as assigned.
- Exercise professional discretion and confidentiality with departmental information.
