What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse - Pediatric RN position at Signal Centers?
Are you a Pediatric Registered Nurse passionate about caring for young children?
We are looking for a Pediatric RN to work in our Early Childhood Development Center. At our center, we enroll many children with significant conditions that are medically fragile, may need tube feeding or other specialized care.
This is a part-time PRN position and will work as needed to provide back-up for our full-time Nurse. Our school is open between 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday and schedule would fall within this time frame.
Qualifications:
• Must have current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee and have 2 years’ experience in nursing, preferably with young children. Work in pediatric settings preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge, skills, education, and training in pediatric nursing.
• CPR certification
• Excellent clinical nursing and communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to the children at Signal Centers.
- Document and maintain health records in accordance with regulatory agencies and Signal Centers policies.
- Communicate with families and health care professionals to meet the child's needs.
- Increase knowledge skills related to pediatric nursing.
- Other duties as assigned.
