Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing floors to ensure they are well-maintained and presentable.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms.
- Execute custodial duties efficiently while following established schedules and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
