Armed Security Officer
Duties:
-The Ability to consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectations. ------Walk assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, and property
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activity
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, or criminal incidents
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any potential security risks or hazards
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or observations
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
-Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, uniforms, and devices, etc.
-Consistently communicates with the Advanced Patrol Officer and or the Branch Patrol Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
Experience:
-Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-Previous experience as an Armed Security Officer, Police Officer, or Military Police experience.
