Security Officers - South Coast

We are seeking vigilant and capable individuals to join our team as Security Officer. As a member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons and staff alike.

Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the security and safety of all guests and preventing disturbances or incidents within the premises.

Ideal candidates that will be hired for the role of Security Officer will need to commute to Fall River-New Bedford area client sites, in addition to our Rhode Island sites.

Responsibilities

1. Monitoring: Patrol and monitor the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, damage, or disturbances.

2. Crowd Control: Manage crowd dynamics to maintain order during peak hours or special events.

3. ID Verification: Verify the age and identification of patrons to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.

4. Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts or disturbances swiftly and effectively to de-escalate situations and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

5. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations such as medical emergencies, fires, or altercations, and alert the appropriate authorities if necessary.

6. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with bar staff, management, and other security personnel to ensure cohesive operations and swift response to incidents.

7. Report Writing: Maintain detailed and accurate logs of incidents, activities, and observations during shifts.

8. Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous assistance to patrons when needed, helping to enhance their overall experience.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, and military backgrounds are preferred, but not necessary.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Professionalism and customer service.

- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures is a plus.

- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
