Job Description :
Signal Power Group is scaling quickly and is seeking a proven Rental Power Salesperson who will drive the commercial success in Rental Power Generation. Reporting to the COO, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in Signal Power’s growth journey with responsibility for new market penetration and revenue execution.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Develop, execute and oversee comprehensive go-to-market strategy to satisfy and exceed ambitious, yearly sales goals and objectives.
- Understanding around how to maximize penetration into multiple market segments at the same time.
- Can not only close deals, but also build out the strategy around a deal process from lead generation to execution.
- Develop and progress an opportunity funnel for new accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Take ownership of not only filling the funnel, but of successfully closing deals.
- Accountable for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in assigned accounts.
- Ensure that feedback from assigned accounts is properly captured.
Experience :
- Proven experience in retail sales or a similar sales role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this position.
- Customer service experience is highly desirable, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

- Familiarity with data entry processes and inventory management systems is advantageous.
- Public speaking experience will be beneficial when presenting products or services to potential clients.
- Ability to leverage and continue to build network and potential customer base for Signal Power rental equipment.
- Proven track record of rental success with high utilization rates for rental equipment.
Professional Qualifications :
- 10 years of experience of large, strategic account direct sales experience.
- Proven experience in renting power generation equipment to customers both within and beyond the oil and gas Industry.
- Ability to maintain ongoing positive relationships with key customers while developing and fostering new connections within the market.
- Primarily a value based, solution oriented (HW/SW/SVCS) sales history versus transactional.
- Proven ability to climb the stack and work downwards into key stakeholders for multi-level sales/rentals.
- Demonstrated ability to close orders with little direct management oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals, leasing/renting direct to large and medium sized enterprises.
- Excellent relationship and negotiations skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work with organizational leadership to build consensus around strategy and tactics.
- Entrepreneurial characteristics, self-starter and able to work in a fast paced, high-growth environment.
- Passionate about our customers, solution, and cross functional teamwork.
- Able to travel as required in order to cover a large geographic area.
