Responsibilities

• This position is scheduled for two shifts on the dayshift (8AM-4PM) and 3 shifts on the evening shift (4PM-12AM) to include 1 weekend day
• Patrol client site with security officers to ensure safety and security for guests, tenants, staff and property
• Provide leadership, strong decision-making skills, mentorship and guidance to security personnel
• Ability to mentor officers in security operations/procedures to maintain high security operation performance
• Conduct thorough investigations and follow-up investigations into crimes against property and crimes against persons based on reported incidents
• Maintain strong working relationships with client Executive Staff
• Review of officer reports for completeness and necessary follow-up
• Responsible for scheduling shift officers
• Provide performance reviews of security personnel
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive guest, tenant or associate needs
• Assist in emergency situations through knowledge of procedures while maintaining calm and professional interactions

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Must have a proactive approach to security operations and performance
• Must have a welcoming demeanor while maintaining a strong, professional and command bearing presence
• Must have strong problem-solving skills coupled with sound decision making skills
• Must have basic computer skills to include Word, email, video surveillance systems, and reporting
• Must be able to walk and stand for up to 6 hours per shift
• Must be able to respond quickly to emergency situations
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
• Must have verifiable security supervisory or law enforcement experience and possess a NC PPSB Unarmed Guard Registration
