Position Title: Dedicated Officer 

Location: Morgantown, WV

Schedule: Part-time (Overnight Positions Available - Multiple Days Per Week - Six (6) hour shifts)

Pay Rate: Between $14.00 and $16.00 per hour for first 90 days ($1.00 raise after 90 days with no call-off's and all training completed - non-negotiable)

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Pass Drug Test

• Be able to answer NO to ALL of the following (if you cannot answer NO to all, please do not bother applying):
• Have you had a previous private investigator or security guard license revoked or denied in West Virginia or any other state?
• Have you been declared incompetent by a court because of a mental defect or illness?
• Do or have you suffered from narcotics addiction or dependence or habitual drunkenness?
• Have you been convicted of a felony in this state or any other state or territory?
• Have you been convicted of any of these crimes?
• Illegally using, carrying or possessing a pistol or other dangerous weapon;
• Making or possessing burglar's instruments;
• Buying or receiving stolen property;
• Entering a building unlawfully;
• Aiding an inmate's escape from prison;
• Possessing or distributing illicit drugs; or
• Any misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or for which dishonesty of character is a necessary element (for example, domestic violence, theft etc.)
• Be able to answer NEVER to ALL of the following:
• Engaged in the private investigation or security guard business without a license;
• Transferred your license to an unlicensed person or subcontracted with an unlicensed person or firm to conduct investigations or security guard business;
• Employed anyone to conduct investigations or security guard business who was in violation of any of the prohibitions or requirements of law;
• Falsely represented that you were any other person licensed as an investigator or guard;
• Made any false report with respect to any matter relating to your employment;
• Divulged any information obtained from or for a client without express permission;
• Knowingly accepted employment to obtain information intended for illegal purposes; or
• Authorized another person to violate the law or rules.

• You MUST be able to write CLEAR CONCISE reports, which means you must be able to read and write English effectively.
• You MUST have a cell phone with a DATA PLAN (pre-paid phones not accepted)
• You will be using YOUR cell phone with the Tracktk mobile app to view your schedule, clock in/out, and compose and send hourly reports. You are required to also download and use 'GroupMe' app for all communication
• If you are not willing to use YOUR phone and data, we are not able to move forward with the hiring process.

Position Summary:

A Signal Dedicated Officer will conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety. All duties listed below are minimum requirements – additional duties listed in the site’s Post Orders are requirements as well.

• Team Development: Communicate with Clients, team members and management effectively and in a timely manner, receiving and relaying feedback and executing follow up as needed. Can you work cohesively with a team, delivering on key objectives?
• Project Management: Complete understanding and execution of daily tasks and efficiently delivering services that meet the needs of the business. Can you complete your daily assigned tasks and communicate maintenance needs of company assets?

Responsibilities:

• Will conduct and deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company’s values, expectations, and consistent service in alignment with site specific instructions/post orders.
• Will write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.
• The Ability to consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectations 
• Interacting with internal and external customers on site cultivating a customer service relationship while striving to provide peace of mind.
• Consistently communicates with the Advanced Dedicated Officer or the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
• Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, vehicles, and devices, etc.
• Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
• Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
• Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, such as the client needs and post order changes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass background check and drug test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Complete training modules within first month
• Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
• Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
