What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wealth Advisor Associate position at Signal Wealth Advisors?
Overview:
This is a full-time, on-site role that has hybrid flexibility. A Wealth Advisor Associate plays an integral role in our client journey. Wealth Advisor Associates are the main support for Wealth Advisors as it relates to financial planning, client relationship management, meeting preparation, and meeting follow-up as well as assisting the Client Service Associates as needed. Wealth Advisor Associates are responsible for supporting the implementation of client recommendations, assisting in monitoring client strategies, conducting due diligence, and assisting the Wealth Advisor as needed for providing exceptional client service. The primary responsibility for this role is to work alongside the Wealth Advisor to ensure the Signal Wealth Advisors client experience and standards are being upheld.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the firm’s financial planning software for clients, including:
- Gathering data and data entry
- Creating new client profiles and building out shell of financial plan
- Updating financial plan information as needed
- Assist with identification and execution of planning outcomes
- Generate written financial plans and recommendations
Develop financial planning proposals alongside the Wealth Advisor
Coordinate with Wealth Advisors to create financial planning and investment proposals for prospective clients
Coordinate with Client Service Associates to ensure seamless client onboarding experience for clients
Coordinate with Client Service Associates to implement recommendations from any meeting follow up that has to do with the custodians
Assist Wealth Advisor with all client meeting preparation and follow-up
- Gather information
- Create proposed agenda
- Identify key areas of follow up from each client meeting
- Manage and execute meeting follow up
- Manage CRM notes, tasks, and workflows related to meetings
Highly active and engaged in utilizing the CRM to maintain client information, process workflows, and track business development
Monitor progress on all tasks and follow up as needed to ensure completion
Become proficient with all the firm’s software
- Orion, Wealthbox, Right Captial, Eclipse, etc.
Become proficient with usage of Charles Schwab and Fidelity
Assist with special projects as needed

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
CFP certification or working towards CFP
Series 65 or working towards it
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Experience with CRMs
Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy by delivering high quality work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team oriented and highly collaborative
Experience in the financial services industry, preferably Wealth Management
