Positions Supervised : NA

Travel Required : Occasional as to attend annual convention and to travel to accounts as needed, up to 25%

Compensation : Salary exempt; based on experience

Office Hours : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Your Role.

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing defined strategic accounts, creating comprehensive account plans, and conducting regular performance reviews to ensure alignment with client goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship management skills who can drive value and growth within key accounts while providing leadership within the sales team and the organization as a whole. You will drive the sales process and be a key resource for franchise partners in closing deals. Your coordination between franchises and strategic accounts will be crucial in ensuring alignment and achieving mutual success.

What You'll Do in This Role.

Managing and Growing Strategic Accounts :

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of defined strategic accounts, focusing on building long-term relationships and driving account growth.
  • Identify opportunities to expand account relationships and increase revenue through cross-selling and upselling.

Strategic Account Planning :

  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans that align with client objectives and company goals.
  • Ensure that account plans are regularly updated and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • KPI and Business Reviews :

  • Conduct monthly KPI calls with strategic accounts to review performance metrics and address any issues or opportunities.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews to assess progress against strategic goals and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate annual strategy reviews to align on long-term objectives and set the direction for the upcoming year.
  • Franchise Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with franchise partners as needed to maximize value and growth within existing strategic accounts.
  • Coordinate between franchises and strategic accounts to ensure alignment and support mutual success.
  • Onboarding of New Strategic Accounts :

  • Support the onboarding process for new strategic accounts, focusing on establishing strong business relationships and setting the foundation for long-term success.
  • Work closely with new accounts to ensure a smooth transition and integration into the company's processes.
  • Leadership and Team Collaboration :

  • Provide leadership within the sales team, offering guidance and support to ensure the overall success of the department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive company-wide initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Qualifications / Knowledge :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to drive account performance.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Skills / Abilities :

  • Experience working with franchise models or within a franchised organization.
  • Background in strategic planning and business analysis.
  • Leadership experience within a sales team.
  • Must be able to pass a background check including Motor Vehicle Report

  • The Office Environment :

    As part of the company, you can expect to work in a standard office setting where there is a positive team atmosphere. Our office is a collaborative space where cross-department projects are frequent. Occasional overtime may be required as business needs dictate. You will have exposure to moderate noise levels and on occasion outside weather conditions (walking between buildings, networking events).
