Oversee feature prioritization, execution, and product lifecycle management
Establish data-driven decision-making frameworks , leveraging user research and analytics to optimize product success
Own go-to-market strategy , working with sales, marketing, and customer success to drive adoption
Evaluate new market opportunities, business models, and revenue growth strategies
Ensure best-in-class user experience and customer engagement strategies
Foster a culture of experimentation, rapid iteration, and continuous innovation
Common Qualifications
While each startup has its own hiring criteria, many VP of Product roles in our network look for :
10 years of experience in product management, with 4 years leading product teams
Proven track record of scaling product teams and managing large product portfolios
Strong experience in B2B SaaS, AI, fintech, marketplaces, or developer tools
Expertise in customer research, user experience, and growth optimization
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments
Deep experience in A / B testing, data analysis, and product-led growth
Strong leadership in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing teams
Experience working in venture-backed startups or high-growth technology companies
