Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sign Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for precision in manufacturing processes. As a Sign Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components according to specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate a wide variety of signage, including vinyl graphics, dimensional lettering, ADA signs, blade signs, and more, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Expertly operate power tools and equipment commonly used in sign fabrication, such as saws, routers, welders (if applicable), and CNC machines (if applicable).
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges efficiently and creatively.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to accurately fabricate signs according to specifications.
- Assist in sanding and painting substrates as needed.
- Assist in the installation of fabricated signs as needed, including the use of equipment such as augers and lifts.
Qualifications:
- Proficient with Tools & Equipment: Safely and effectively operate a wide range of tools and equipment, adhering to standard safety protocols.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize production software with confidence and accuracy after receiving the necessary training.
- Attention to Detail: Accurately read, interpret, and follow work orders to ensure flawless execution of each project.
- Logical Problem Solver: Can think through problems to solutions—confidence in decision-making.
- Basic Math & Literacy Skills: Demonstrate the ability to count, spell, and measure with precision to ensure accurate installations and fabrications.
- Hands-On Installation Experience (a plus): Participate in the physical aspects of sign installation, including tasks like digging holes, climbing ladders, using power tools, applying vinyl graphics, and working with substrates and windows.
- Self-Motivation & Initiative: Stay focused, manage time well, and take proactive steps to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
