Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, electrical systems, and safety protocols. The Solar Installer will work closely with crew leads, superintendents, project managers and other team members to ensure that installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties
- Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to project specifications.
- Perform fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely attached and functioning properly.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
- Conduct electrical work in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Conduct system testing using voltmeters to ensure proper functionality before project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any installation issues that arise during the process.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in solar, construction, or electrical work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Valid Texas DL is required.
- Proficiency in using tape measures, hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work at heights (roofs) safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience working in the construction/solar industry is a plus.
- General knowledge of equipment, Mini Ex, Skid steer is a plus.
- We maintain a drug-free workplace. Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test as a condition of employment.
- Available for overtime on a weekly basis.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
