What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Construction Supervisor position at Signature Companies, LLC?
Signature Companies, a Regional Developer and Home Builder involved in Land Development, Home Building, Association Development, Apartment Development and Commercial Development in South Dakota and Iowa for the past 20 years is looking for experienced Job Supervisors.
Will work closely with other job supervisors, sales staff and sub-contractors.
Daily tasks to include but not limited to:
Supervise all construction activities related to assigned projects.
Coordinate and schedule all necessary material per project.
Coordinating and approve all vendor-based drawings for productions
Coordinate and schedule all subcontractors to reach completion dates.
Coordinate with development supervisor on all site infrastructure.
Establish and attain a building schedule along with completing a final punch list.
Jobsite cleanliness is key to product quality control.
Maintain a company quality standard on every project.
Honest and open communication with vendors, office, subcontractors, homeowners, etc.
Assist with hiring and training assistant supervisor; plan review prior to starts of project.
Assist with procuring additional trades within budgetary guidelines.
Enforce company safety policies on the construction site.
Additional duties as assigned
Construction background preferred, but all experience will be considered.
