What are the responsibilities and job description for the RFP Project Manager position at Signature Consultants?
- JOB IS 4 DAYS ON SITE IN DC
- STRONG RFP EXP REQUIRED
- strong project manager who can develop a detailed project plan/schedule, manage the project documentation, coordinate logistics/meetings with key stakeholders, help guide and draft the RFP, and produce project progress reports and visuals for updates to senior management.
- someone who can help with project plan, documentation, keeping track of logistics/meeting, general project management and keeping the project on time and under budget, etc
- Status reports- governance team with senior leaders, will have monthly status report and meetings- want regular status updates for vps
- Part of challenge is helping senior leadership to understand complexity of deal- business has agreed to have SMEs to gather requirements etc, but need the structure in place to manage the project and help with documentation to prepare the RFP.
- Need someone with experience helping to shape and shepherd and RFP- balance of someone who has done the coordination and management and is comfortable wearing that hat but has experience with RFP process
- Tools/technologies- ADO would be nice to have
- Need experience coordinating effort to help across groups/teams, migrations etc- lot of moving pieces. Will be working a lot with various teams as to how to set up in existing systems as to how it flows, etc
- Scope of role- 6-8 months initially, would go into the fall with rfp and selection, and if they are the right resource/what the companies bring back to them for their proposals
- 4 days a week on site
- Pmp etc is a plus, but not totally mandatory- suspect someone who can do this will likely have some sort of cert etc
