JOB TITLE : Financial Business Analyst

SUMMARY : The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial systems and applications, a deep understanding of data analysis, and strong communication skills. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, manage system configurations, and ensure seamless integration of applications to support business operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and Tamarac, including managing configurations, user roles, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Analyze data sources between systems for completeness and timeliness.
- Verify accuracy of data, reports and provide insights.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of internal procedures to improve data consistency, cleanliness, and ease of use.
- Communicate task progress status and any potential delays that will have impact on the larger project.
- Work as a liaison between data end users and the software development team to troubleshoot any potential data issues that may arise.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end users to ensure maximum utilization of the systems.
- Ad hoc reporting.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Acute analytical abilities and attention to detail are essential for this position.Ability to work independently and formulate analysis plans with minimal supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge in the financial markets, specifically in reporting a plus.Knowledge of SQL queries a plus.Licensed Series 7 a plus.COMPETENCIES :
