In the next phase of our expansion, we are enthusiastic about commencing our search for an Analyst, Associate, and, or, Senior Associate, to join our Mergers and Acquisitions department ("M&A Analyst" or "M&A Associate" This pivotal role will contribute significantly to the launch and development of the new department and play a crucial part in executing our firm's M&A strategy.
JOB SUMMARY :
The M&A Analyst / Associate will be accountable for proactively reaching out to advisory firm owners and sellers, evaluating their firms as potential investment opportunities, conducting comprehensive analyses on their businesses, creating financial presentations and pitch decks, and collaborating closely with SEIA Executives and Investors to oversee the execution of deals. You will become an integral part of a team comprised of dynamic, collaborative, and client-centric professionals dedicated to upholding our core values.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Tasks will include but will not be limited to :
- Conducting financial analysis for M&A transactions, performing due diligence for potential investments, valuation analysis, and creating confidential information memos (CIMs) and pitch decks.
- Working within financial models to identify trends, develop pro-forma financial statements, and assess business valuations.
- Communicating with SEIA Executive Management (CEO, CCO, CFO, & Founders), M&A integration teams, and external investors for updates, approvals, and deal execution.
- Helping source and identify new acquisition targets, coordinating initial calls and meetings with prospective sellers and the deal team.
- Serving as liaison between M&A Department and Finance.
- Fulfilling other transaction-related duties as assigned.
