RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SALES ASSOCIATE:
- Educate current and potential consumers about products and their benefits
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing consumer accounts, client needs, and following campaign progress
- Service existing accounts, obtain schedules for future work orders and establish new client contracts via direct contact with the customer
- Recommend changes or upgrades to services by evaluating results and recent developments on existing accounts
- Adjust content of sales presentations by studying ongoing market changes and specific territory trends
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, necessary campaign adjustments, and territory analyses
- Stay up to date on current product pricing, new products, and delivery or work order schedules
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in quarterly training meetings
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Minimum of 12 months in a client-facing sales or customer service role
- Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, verbal, and written
- Familiarity in working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking, evaluation, and analysis abilities
- Experience in a leadership position is preferred and highly regarded
