Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscaping, groundskeeping, and general maintenance of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with our team to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging.
- Perform tree care activities such as tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.
- Assist with irrigation installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Carry out snow plowing duties during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment after use.
- Collaborate with team members on landscape design projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct regular groundskeeping tasks, including weeding, mulching, planting, and maintaining flower beds.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscape maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic gardening techniques and plant care is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions.
