What We Offer.
- $75,000 – $115,000 annual starting wage based on your knowledge and experience.

- Manage system securityfor information systems, including virtual environments, data, software, hardware, and telecommunications equipment.
- Create and enforce system security plans.Monitor the IS Security Program and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshootinformation systems and hardware.
- Continuously assess compliancewith system security plans.
- Conduct audits, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments.Handle Assured File Transfers, maintain data integrity, and investigate security incidents.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholdersto ensure smooth operations.
- Guide and direct ISSOs.
- Support the security officer and staffas needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience (at least 3 years).
- Proven experience in Information Technology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security or similar) within 6 months if hired for this position.
- Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems including administrative knowledge required.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Due to federal requirements for this position, the successful applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain (upon hire) a Top-Secret security clearance.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the United States (less than 20%) is required.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Current DoD 8570.01-M certification (e.g., Security ).
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP )
- Experience with Windows operating systems.
- Experience with security hardening, assessment, and reporting tools (e.g., SCAP, STIG, Nessus).
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework, DoD Assess and Authorize Process Manual, Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide, National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-171, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.
