Responsibilities
- Perform installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary to facilitate glass replacement.
- Utilize proper techniques and tools to ensure safe and effective glass installation.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any additional repairs needed related to glass or surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for automotive glass installation and repair.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Skills
- Proficient in glass installation techniques and automotive repair processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes and dealership environments is beneficial.
- Background in auto body repair is an advantage but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
