What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Test Technician position at SIGNATURE SOLAR LLC?
The Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems within their area of expertise. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical testing procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
A successful candidate must be able to:
Conduct high-voltage testing on electrical components and assemblies to ensure insulation integrity and safety.
Set up and calibrate Hi-Pot test equipment according to specifications.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues or failures during testing.
Interpret test results and document findings accurately.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any functional issues.
Install and configure equipment and systems according to specifications and safety standards.
Perform initial testing and calibration to ensure proper functionality.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures.
Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment to maintain optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
Repair or replace faulty components and systems to restore functionality.
Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
Use various tools to build and repair systems.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Report any safety hazards or violations to the supervisor.

High level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience is preferred.
2 - 4 years of experience in power electronics troubleshooting and repair.
