Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate

Summary:

The Position is responsible for duties in the warehouse as assigned.

A valid forklift license and valid driver's license are required for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain and clean the warehouse

· Restock warehouse supplies

· Pick orders

· Perform all shipping and receiving functions

· Organize and maintain shipping paperwork

· Ensure customer satisfaction

· Use forklift to load and unload trucks (flatbed, dry van, container, etc.)

· Utilize lean methodology to create space in yard and warehouse

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Valid Forklift License

· Must be dependable, punctual and have a good attendance record.

· Must be flexible and adaptable to change.

· Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision.

· Be a team player that works well with others.

· Always demonstrate professional conduct and be quality driven

· Must be able to obtain forklift licenses and demonstrate proficiency within 90 days of hire

· Must have a clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicles

· Basic computer skills

· Basis understanding of inventory and cycle counting.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Must be able to adapt to environmental changes and working conditions, such as temperature, noise and working outside.

· Must be able to work overtime, weekends, evenings as needed.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Warehouse experience: 3 years (Preferred)
• Inventory management: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
