Summary:
As Plant HR Manager, this position will support the manufacturing facility and be responsible for a range of activities related to employee relations, full-cycle recruiting, training and development, performance management, leave administration, payroll support, and policies and practices that foster an engaging work culture inside a fast-paced manufacturing plant facility. Serving as the point of contact for employees, supervisors, and managers, you will deliver service and support that reflects our business objectives and supports and mission, vision and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruiting process including talent research, sourcing, candidate assessment and management, pre-employment screening and hiring
- Manage the onboarding process for all local hires, including reviewing pre-employment screening results, collecting documentation, conducting new hire orientation, I-9 compliance, new employee announcement and setup, and ensuring completion of key training and policy acknowledgements
- Manage employee hires, terminations, and changes
- Manage the offboarding process for all local employees, including conducting exit interviews, issuing separation letters, collecting company equipment, and managing logistics with appropriate teams (IT, payroll, finance).
- Provides day-to-day performance management and production skills assessment support to line management (coaching, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Identify training and development needs and assist in the delivery and implementation of programs to meet the needs of the plant
- Provides counseling and/or coaching to employees and management regarding employee relations and application of company policies, programs and benefits
- Interfaces with Corporate HR Department on coordination of centralized tasks including payroll, time and attendance, leave management, etc.
- Support activities and programs promoting company culture, values and policies
- Deliver routine reporting and respond to ad hoc data and document requests
- Maintain personnel files and accurate data in HRIS systems and databases
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent years of experience required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources with progressive duties around recruiting, employee relations, performance management and training and development required
- Prior experience in industrial or warehousing environment strongly preferred
- Bi-lingual Spanish desirable
- HR certification is a plus
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws and its' applications required
- Must be able to work alternative shifts as needed - plant runs 24/7

Salary : $78,000 - $110,000
