Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the production floor at Signatures Apparel. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team and improving production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management
- Manage a team of production personnel, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff for approved roles.
- Conduct regular meetings with the production team to discuss progress and goals.
- Production Floor Performance
- Monitor and improve production floor performance output, updating metrics such as decorations, missed shipments, machine output, scrap/yield, etc.
- Maintain documented standard operating procedures for shipping, receiving, and embroidery/print order processing.
- Leadership Liaison and Strategic Goal Implementation
- Report floor capacity to leadership and project overtime costs.
- Present project proposals for efficiency enhancements and communicate across departments.
- Other Duties
- Perform a quarterly inventory audit and store audit records.
- Complete monthly inventory and maintain records of historical inventory counts in requested format.
