The Role
We are seeking an experienced leader to assist the Placement Director in mentoring and developing the placement team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance coverages and be able to articulate needs to carriers.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management
- Assist the Placement Director in mentoring and developing the placement team.
- Manage daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflows and processes.
- Strategy & Planning
- Support the creation, oversight, and reporting on the metric-based Lamb Quoting System.
- Analyze market trends and carrier capabilities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with the team director to set targets and objectives.
- Carrier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers.
- Evaluate the performance of markets and provide feedback for improvement.
- Proper utilization of Caffeine to organize and prioritize opportunities - new / renewal business.
- Process Oversight
- Ensure timely and successful placements by coordinating with the sales team.
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of business submissions to carriers.
- Insurance Expertise
- Deep understanding of insurance coverages and ability to articulate needs to carriers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Property & Casualty Broker.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Skill & Competencies
- Deep understanding of insurance coverages and ability to articulate needs to carriers.
