Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both commercial and residential environments. This position requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Duties

• Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and stripping to ensure surfaces are well-kept.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly.
• Maintain the exterior of the facility by picking up litter, cleaning windows, and ensuring entryways are tidy.
• Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall operations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Basic understanding of facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
