We are seeking a FIAR IT Audit Consultant to support our program with the Air Force. This role requires onsite work at Joint Base Andrews 1 day per week. The Air Force is working to attain auditable annual financial statements, which will enable improved and transparent business and financial operations, and continue to develop, and improve on communications. The team focuses on advising senior A4 leadership on Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) strategy, audit progress monitoring and reporting, and general audit IT compliance. The successful candidate will provide technical and functional support for the AF FIAR efforts. The audit compliance IT Junior will be tasked with supporting IT audit remediation activities, monitoring IT system compliance, and coordinating with Air Force IT program management offices.
\n- Bachelors Degree in related field
- Active Secret clearance (interim OK)
- 3 years of experience performing IT audits (internally or externally) with focus on Material Weakness Downgrade Focus, FIAR Assessable Unit (AU) Compliance, Information Management.
- Strong experience working with key senior stakeholders and users to gather, define, and document processes.
- Strong experience writing audit reports, identifying risks and recommending appropriate steps to improve effectiveness and mitigate risks.
- Knowledge and awareness of changes in IT audit practices, regulatory requirements, and IT Risk/Control frameworks (SFIS, FFMSR, NIST, FISCAM, etc.)
- Project management skills to monitor all tasks and follow up with client organizations as needed
- Technical skills needed to prepare status reports for the project and other client presentations as needed
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
