This is an exciting job opportunity to light the way as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Americus, GA with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
The role involves working with the Manufacturing Engineer improving material flow; redesigning assembly cells. You will also design jigs and fixtures and participate in Kaizen events.
Requirements
To shine brightly in this job opening, you should have:
- A current engineering student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with Solidworks and/or 3D Printing.
- An understanding of continuous improvement; lean manufacturing.
- Experience designing jigs and fixtures.
- Knowledge of environmental, safety and quality regulations.
