Job Title
A leading manufacturer of transit packaging consumables, tools, software, and equipment is seeking an experienced engineer to manage automatic equipment and automation opportunities from lead to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support with proposals, pricing, and equipment layouts.
- Conduct surveys on equipment, detailing what is needed for both the customer and production.
- Identify non-standard items and coordinate with relevant groups to address concerns.
- Offer automation expertise and coordinate with segment experts to provide the best equipment solution.
- Coordinate with departments to overcome hurdles during engineering and manufacturing stages.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment manufacturing engineering and automation.
- Experience in engineering proposals and project management.
- Ability to develop integrated 2-D layouts, 3-D modeling, and simulations/animations.
- Full understanding of electronics/pneumatics/hydraulics.
- Strong computer skills with high proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with CRM and CAD systems.
