Salary:

$38.00/hourly

Summary:

Performs troubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment. Assist with the servicing and repairing of more complex equipment. Complies with applicable regulations and the department’s Safety program.

Essential Functions:

• Solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production.
• Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance work.
• Conducts preventive maintenance schedule.
• Dealing with incoming work requests.
• Communicating existing and potential issues with your group leaders and/or maintenance manager.
• Abiding by different safety measures and policies.

Education:

Minimum High School diploma or GED and mechanical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in mechanic.

Experience:

• Five (5) years of mechanical technical hands-on experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and hydraulic / pneumatic schematics.
• Ability to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks.
• Ability to read, use and understand gauges, tools and instruments relating to product quality and equipment repair.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have sound knowledge and experience in Industrial Maintenance environment with repair and troubleshooting machine issues and breakdowns along with general maintenance.
• Must have a good working knowledge of mechanics and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Must have experience in welding with MIG and/or arc welder.
• Must have a good working knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors, etc.
• Forklifts and scissor lift driving experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Lathe operation experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Must have organization and housekeeping skills.
• Must have good communication skills throughout all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, overtime and weekends as required.
