The First America Homes Construction internship was created to give students and graduates the opportunity to learn from various parts of the company and real estate industry. FAH interns will gain hands-on experience in various department functions and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The program will include special projects, mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities. At the conclusion of the program, the Summer intern will present their analysis and make real-time recommendations to department leadership to help drive and grow the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Conduct field visits with Area Construction Managers and assist construction crew on site.
- Shadow multiple construction positions and train in a variety of tasks.
- Attend company functions and network with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the daily operations of active construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety standards.
- Support project managers and construction supervisors with coordination tasks, including scheduling, procurement, and documentation.
- Participate in site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure compliance with construction codes and company standards.
- Perform other projects and related duties as assigned.
- Present end of program presentation / project at the conclusion of internship.
