POSITION SUMMARY :
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Technician Intern to join our dynamic IT team. As an intern, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day IT support tasks and learning the ins and outs of IT operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in IT support while working in a professional environment. You will work closely with experienced IT professionals to troubleshoot technical issues, assist with system maintenance, and provide support to employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems related to operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity.
- Assist in setting up new workstations, including hardware installation and software configuration.
- Help maintain inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring that equipment is functioning properly and recorded.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and patches across company systems and user devices.
- Respond to service desk tickets and escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff.
- Perform routine system checks and assist with IT asset maintenance.
- Help set up and troubleshoot conference room AV equipment and ensure the smooth operation of meetings.
- Provide guidance and training to end-users on basic IT procedures and applications.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge sharing in internal databases.
- Assist with data backups and recovery processes, ensuring regular and secure backups are performed.
- Help maintain IT policies and procedures documentation.
- Participate in IT projects and other tasks as needed.
