Sign Production Installation Specialist

Position available for Sign Production Installation Specialist in Holland, MI, US. Help with creating and setting up custom commercial signs. Collaborate with Signs Now - Holland, an industry leader for more than 30 years. Accountable for making, putting together, and setting up interior and exterior signs.

$16 - $18.50 hourly

• Collaborate with and report to the production manager at Signs Now - Holland in Holland, MI, US
• Prepare substrates by cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning surfaces for the application of custom commercial signs
• Apply printed graphics on various material surfaces both in-house and at customer locations
• Conduct site surveys prior to sign installation for accuracy and precision
• Install interior ADA and Wayfinding signage professionally and accurately
• Mount sign panels and graphics on exterior monuments, posts & panels, and building surfaces
• Be willing and able to work in both interior office spaces and exterior site locations as the project demands
• Work independently or as part of a team depending on the project requirements
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop space to professional standards
• Manage and ensure proper care of company vehicles and tools used for installations
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the company to meet project needs
• Uphold professional standards and keep the work area organized for efficient operations

• Ability to work within a team environment
• Previous experience with light fabrication equipment such as printers, routers, plotters, and engraving machines. Not required, will train if necessary
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, upbeat, positive attitude
• Close attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team
• Engage with customers while representing the company in a professional manner
• Comfortable with heights - working on lifts/ladders is required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to use and read a tape measure with precision
• Comfortable with the safe use of simple hand tools, such as drills, saws, screwdrivers, utility knives, etc.
• Knowledge of sign industry basic materials and products is a plus - training will be provided
• Knowledge or ability to learn to perform simple and complex sign and graphics installations at the customer’s site
• Interest in learning new skills while performing tasks
