Manufacturing Technician II

Sigray, Inc. has an immediate need for a full-time Manufacturing Technician with extensive experience working on complex systems and a strong understanding of assembling systems based on mechanical design models. The successful candidate will be mechanically adept, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced assembly of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems, ensuring precision and adherence to mechanical design models
• Soldering cables and components as part of the assembly process
• Oversee the processing of complete assemblies with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and accessible
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior assemblers
• Assist with preparing both domestic and international shipments
• Cable / wire harness building
• Integrating complex electromechanical systems, LV, HV
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Operate light and heavy manufacturing tools (press, forklift, etc.)

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team environment
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and set priorities according to current demands
• Ability to deliver solutions under tight deadlines
• Cable making experience (WHMA-A-620) ideal

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in mechanical and electromechanical assembly
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and other mechanical tools, with significant experience in assembling complex systems
• Experience in soldering, brazing, and welding
• Experience in a startup company environment is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
