Position Summary :
CNC Machine Operator III is a senior-level position that draws on prior machining experience and technical problem-solving skills to operate a minimum of three (3) types of CNC equipment. The CNC Machine Operator III will operate multiple types of CNC machines on all types of components using automated and manual equipment and processes to meet customer needs. CNC Machine Operators set-up and perform a majority of secondary operations and assist in set-up and change over activities as required. CNC Machine Operators at this level work both independently and in a team environment with internal team members, leads, supervisors, engineering, and quality.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- All duties associated with levels I and II, operating a minimum of three (3) types of CNC equipment, and the ability to determine the difference between a tool offset and work offs required.
- Partner with Set-Up to adjust various machines and provide feedback and insight.
- Provide assistance and guidance to lower-level CNC Machine Operators as needed.
- Learn how to adjust feeds and speeds.
- Use draw(s) to inspect part(s) and determine what measuring tools are needed.
- Responsible for communicating with management.
- Responsible for training others as required.
- All duties associated with lower levels including requests for maintenance when needed.
- Acts as a backup to Lead as needed including performing audits.
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
- May be required to work in other functional areas and / or facilities depending on business needs.
- May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
