Position Summary:
Operate specific stations within the Load/Pack Assembly Line to produce assembled ammunition cartridges. Handle various materials and process them through the multiple stages of assembly to include visual and dimensional quality inspection. The assembly operator will effectively operate under the direction of the Production Supervisor and the department Lead.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed defined production performance standards.
- Retrieve necessary components and stage them at the appropriate loading stations.
- Effectively operate specific stations within the Loading Assembly Line.
- Be able to troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues at each station.
- Perform quality checks accordingly for each machine/station of the process.
- Report any potential quality issues to operations management.
- Perform specific shift tasks related to work area preparation and end of shift work area cleaning and organizing.
- Properly log and complete all production paperwork.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required for specified activities.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Related experience and/or training preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and understand verbal directions.
- Work well in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Must be able to operate all machinery within production Line.

- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
- Work is primarily standing (90 % of the shift) with the exception of lunch and break periods.
- The duties of this job normally require exposure to a typical manufacturing area where frequent standing, sitting, stooping/squatting, walking and stair climbing can be expected along with frequent lifting and/or moving of tooling, parts, containers, and materials up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend and kneel frequently at a minimum 50% of the shift, as well as undergo repetitive wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder, and ankle motions.
