Position Summary : The Quality Inspector I is responsible for the performance of routine mechanical or visual inspections per the technical documentation provided using pre-trained / determined methods to determine product acceptability.
FLSA : Non-exempt
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect inspection data when asked and shown by inspectors or supervision.
- Ability to learn blueprint reading, GD&T, and platework from experienced inspectors and / or supervision and on the job.
- Regular on-site attendance / punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
- May be required to work in other functional areas and / or facilities depending on business needs.
- May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
