Job Description

Broad Function and Purpose of Position:  Broad Function and Purpose of Position:  The Insurance Risk Manager will be responsible for insurance, letters of credit, and bonding. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Partner with teams across the organization to ensure proper management of the Company’s risk exposure
  • Manage the insurance renewal process
  • Coordinate the completion of insurance applications for renewal
  • Prepare documents/schedules needed for the insurance renewal
  • Review contracts for insurance requirements
  • Review and Monitor Certificate of Insurance Requests
  • Manage annual insurance audit
  • Manage WC reporting and compliance for various monopolistic states
  • Review claim reserves for WC and Automotive claims.
  • Report and monitor insurance claims.
  • Review Letters of Credit for internal and external projects
  • Review Bonding needs
  • Special projects and various filing as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 - 10 years of professional work experience in Insurance preferred.
  • Superior analytical skills and demonstrated ability to draw conclusions and/or summarize findings.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word software is strongly preferred.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills required to work with co-workers around the world and across all business levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
