Job Description
- Supporting a PLC controlled 120 wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line
- The operation will include set up, operation, breakdown and cleaning of all components, and the development of proper processing parameters during operation to optimize line speeds and yields
- Safe operation of forklifts to transport materials to workstations.
- Ensure proper quality review of the product on workstations assigned.
- Follow all company policies, including environmental policy and notify supervisor of any concern that may affect work area or company property.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience with plastics, vinyl coating, lamination or printing production highly desirable
- Ability to read and write English
- Good verbal communications skills
- Understanding of how to use a touch-screen (PLC) production line
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
- Ability and willingness to work overtime if required
- Availability and willingness to cover any shift with prior notification
