Job Description
Join our dedicated team at the Chattanooga, TN Fibers Plant, and play a vital role in our production process. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Operator to help ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Review process specifications to ensure processing accuracy.
Operate cutting equipment as directed and complete shift machine paperwork.
Fill out the production board and document countermeasures accurately.
Perform quality checks as required to maintain high standards.
Enter production data into SAP and generate tickets.
Affix tickets to finished pallets.
Program printers and change ribbon as needed.
Replace paper rolls when necessary.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
Proficient using a computer and common software applications.
Previous forklift experience and/or certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to calculate simple math problems and read/use a tape measure.
Team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
